In March 2001 the company INTERGAZ has built its gas depository in Daugavpils using the newest technologies. The choice of site for building is not accidental as the object is situated near borders of the main supplier of the company – Russia as well as on external borders of the European Union.

The company terminal with total monthly carrying capacity of 10 thousands of tons of liquefied gas is equipped with storing tanks for gas storage, stations for tank-wagon unloading and for gas filling in tank trucks. The equipment of the post for tank trucks is universal: it is possible not only to fill in, but also to unload gas from tank trucks. On the territory of the terminal there is a ramp for filling liquefied gas in bottles, the equipment of which allows filling bottles of any size and with different stop valves.

While building the terminal, special attention was paid to elaboration of the system of ecological and fire safety as one of the basic principles of the company is guaranteeing the safety of liquefied gas users and people living in near surroundings of the company objects. The terminal territory is provided with sensors – gas-analyzers, thus managing continuous monitoring of the environment. In case of possible gas escape a multi-level protection system and automatic localization of the emergency object is provided.

The company INTERGAZ has an excellent base of specialized motor transport: carriers with tanks and semitrailers for transportation of liquefied gas. The capacity of autopark allows simultaneous transportation of 150 m3 of gas. The transport is meant not only for bulk buyers but also for delivery of propane to private persons whose houses are situated in remote places far away from main lines with ground surface. INTERGAZ specialists have unique equipment that allows unloading gas remains from containers of clients. Such action is needed during planned internal inspection of the container or in case of filling containers with low-quality gas by a careless supplier.

The main supply of liquefied gas is performed via railway. This is why the availability of own railway branch on the territory of the terminal provided with stations for transfer of blue fuel from tank-wagons to storage tanks is considered to be an advantage over other gas sellers.

We both supply gas for bulk buyers with delivery in tank trucks and we are engaged in retail of bottled gas. The company has its transit distribution points in Riga, Valmiera, Tukums, Rezekne, Jekabpils, and Daugavpils. The company management makes uninterrupted investments in development of retail market of liquefied gas in Latvia. Today car owners who use liquefied gas as fuel can refuel in any region of Latvia receiving worthy service for adequate price.
